This is a northerly route through McKinney looping around FM 1461 past the Bill Bates ranch. 40 mile and 53 mile options are available. FM 1461 has no shoulder, so ride single-file and keep your fellow cyclists informed of "cars back" and "cars up."
This is the standard route to Celebration Park in Allen. This route is used by the Wednesday Evening DB ride in the summertime from Legacy and Independence. Return route is either via Exchange or retracing the outbound route. The total distance depends on the number of "DB" loops that are completed.
A ride north to Celina via Frisco and Little Elm. Return south via McKinney and Craig Ranch. 62 miles with a 58 mile short option return. Also a 54-mile option on the way out along the Tollway. The 62-mile route works in either direction.
The Do Rag route is the standard 8:00 Sunday route for the 8 O'clock group. We have several different options that range from 38 to 49 miles but the basic loop is 45 miles
including the Fairview neighborhood loop. Across the lake bridge is a little rough but be careful of the gooves in the pavement. Avoid a very windy days, don't want you
blown off the bridge.
This route heads east out to Lucas then doubles back along Exchange and Ridgeview to Plano westside for a crack at Windhaven Hill. If the wind is blowing from the east, try going in the opposite direction. Shorter options are available.
This is a northerly route to Melissa via McKinney for a stop at Kim's Fudge Factory, then three distance options riding back through Princeton, Lowrey Crossing, Fairview, and Allen. Try the chocolate mint fudge.
A ride out west to Grapevine Dam via Vista Ridge and Flower Mound. Return via Farmers Branch and Addison. 59 miles with a 45 mile short option that bypasses the dam.
This is a NorthEast ride through Lowry Crossing, New Hope and Princeton. A 56-mile short option is available. A few good stretches for pace-lining once the ride gets north of 380.
