First ride in over a week, and wanted to start out with the M/W Hill Ride group but was running late. Dropped daughter off at church, so I just rode from there following a route I found last night. Lot's of traffic and construction on Plano Parkway to start, and made a few detours trying to follow the cue sheet. Turned out okay, only made 2 loops, but first time to ride up Windhaven twice in one ride. I need to do this more often for sure. | |

The weather cooperated nicely with temperature and little wind. Did three warm up laps with Marc P, then the final 6 lashings on The Stick. Sure enjoyed having Bob M join us for his first Stick experience. Can’t say we saw my co-leader Jody for a single ride this winter! Maybe next year Jody? Given some street construction, on the third lap we opted for The Stick as our detour and broke in Sir Richard and Joe who had never had the pleasure. I am ready for Kerrville this weekend! | |

I sensed pain and suffering coming on... Ivars rode up and we started out for a couple of big Windhaven loops. Feeling fine until someone... or some "thing" jumped on my back on loop #2 and I went in reverse so fast I needed a backup alarm. Recovered enough to catch up and hang on for the rest of the evening (thank you downhills). Great evening and great ride. |
