DB Rec Team – Great Work!
DB Rec hit two big short-term goals last weekend by preparing riders for Bike MS and building from 45 miles up to 75. That’s a major accomplishment—congrats to everyone who made it happen!
Now, it’s time to keep the momentum going as we shift focus toward the Hotter’N Hell Hundred (HHH).
🔁 Time for a RESET
We’re dialing the distance back down to 50 miles this weekend. But don’t get too comfortable—we’ll be using this reset to start working on increasing our pace. So far, we’ve been riding at the lower end of our posted range (15.5–17 mph), but moving forward we’ll aim for the mid-range (~16.5 mph). That means:
- Keeping a steadier pace on the flats
- Using downhills to our advantage
- No need to go full throttle—just a slight push to build consistency

The forecast looks great, light wind and 60°F at the start, 70°F by the end. Consider bringing:
- Light sleeves or a vest you can shed mid-ride
