Hey Novice Squad!
Friendly heads-up! A new start time this Saturday, 7:30 AM!
It’ll be cool (mid/upper 50s) at the beginning, so dress in layers. If we warm up, we’ll happily to pull over for a quick “layer peel” stop.
Even with the cooler temps, don’t slack on hydration! Start sipping on Friday so you’re ready to roll on Saturday. 💧✨
🕗 Rollout: 7:30 AM • Arrive: 7:15 AM for check-in and a quick pre-ride hello.
A few quick reminders:
- Please make sure you’re registered online for all PBA rides.
- Please make sure you know how to ride your bike.
- Do your ABC check (Air, Brakes, Chain) before we roll out.
- New parking area at Gulledge — it’s right next to the old one, but only about 20 spots, so come a little early if you can. Overflow parking’s still available in the old lot.
This week’s route:
About 20 miles with a short break halfway through. We’ll keep our usual Novice pace (11–12 mph) and, as always, no one gets left behind! 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️
