Welcome to the weekend, all Novice Riders! The ride will roll out of Gulledge at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning and follow the route below for about 18 miles, with one rest stop at mile 10. This ride is not for complete beginners, but for riders who would like to practice their group riding skills, and also for riders who want a shorter Saturday ride at a relaxed pace. The Novice ride is a developmental, no drop ride, and we ride to accommodate the slowest rider with an average rolling pace of between 11 to 13 mph. The weather forecast is showing temperatures from the mid 60's to mid 70's, with some pesky winds from the SW starting at 11 mph, and strengthening to 14 mph. So we will get our longest southbound stretch out of the way at the beginning of the ride when winds are at their lowest. Please check your tires, brakes and chain, and be ready to roll at 7:45 AM.
