Please arrive 15 minutes before the ride for check-in, announcements, etc.
Please watch for weather updates -- rain is in the forecast.
Tweeners will be trying out a new rain route -- our usual rain route is not available because of the Byron Nelson golf tournament. We will be sticking close to the start so we can cut the ride short if necessary.
Tweeners is a NO DROP ride.
Average rolling speed is 15-16.5 mph. Please understand weather conditions may impact the averages -- treat them like guidelines. It is the rider's responsibility to choose the proper group. If you want to roll faster than the ride -- we will stick you in the back, or let you ride off the front and leave the group. We will NOT let you blow up the ride. If you are not able to maintain comfortably a 15 average -- Tweeners is NOT the correct choice for you, and you will be miserable -- and you will make the other riders miserable -- and they may be cranky.
You will be expected to maintain a proper cadence, pedal on the downhill, call out hazards, and ride like a good group riding citizen.
Jackie Miller and Chrissie Taveira will be your ride leader team on Saturday.
Please download the route -- however, understand that if it rains the ride leaders will detour back to the start to minimize time in the rain.
