Hi everyone! As many of you know, I experienced a major foot issue recently that will keep me off the bicycle for at least the next 2-3 months. The outpouring of support from you guys has floored me. Many of you came to see me in the hospital and continue to follow up with me on a daily basis. I can't tell you how much that has helped keep my spirits up. I have some new challenges ahead to get back on the bicycle, but I will be back.
In the meantime, the PBA board has stepped it up to make sure it's business as usual with a busy Springtime upon us. Mary Hall has temporarily taken over the top spot so I can heal. Please reach out to the board if you have time to volunteer to help the club.
One thing that I continue to focus on is this year's Collin Classic on June 10th. This is the rally in our backyard that we need to support. Once again, the rally will be at Oak Point Amphitheater here in Plano. We have some new sponsors this year. There will be more music throughout the day for your enjoyment. So I hope you'll plan on riding the rally and bringing your family out for the fun. You can register as a team this year so let's show everyone the strength of our club and ride together. Finally, I'm excited to let everyone know that the event benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Collin County. This is one of the organizations that PBA donates bicycles to on an annual basis. They are a great organization that does great things for kids. That's it for now. Everybody be safe and I hope to see you soon!
